Tidal displays 7 day tide forecasts for over 700 locations around the UK and the Republic of Ireland. The tide data is reproduced under license from HM Hydrographic Office in the UK.
Tidal displays a tide table for the selected port, and graphically displays the days high tides. Also displayed is weather information (a 5 day, 3 hourly forecast from the Met Office) for the current port as well as lunar phase information.
Tidal also displays the current time, and a calculated sunrise and sunset indicator.
Tidal allows you to search locations by country, or by searching for the ports nearest to you. This feature requires the app to have access to Location Services, and for Location Services to be active.
Note - prolonged use of GPS in the background can dramatically reduce battery life.
